This might not be the right audience for this discussion, but I’ll write it anyway. I’m a Netflix fan and about half of the movies I select are actually concerts. The wife and kids usually control whats on the list but the Eagels Farewell I Tour, disc 1 I selected ages ago finally arrived last week. What an incredible show. I forgot how many great songs these guys had both as a band, but also individually. Every song over the 3 hour concert was a top hit, and we knew all the words. The wife really enjoyed it as well, and added the second disk which we just watched this evening. Little does she know that I just bought great seats to the show in Cincinnati next week. Its amazing that such good seats are still available. I’m expecting a light turnout due to the financial debacle the country seems to be in. Still I’m hoping for a great show and hope she enjoys the live perfomance as much as the DVD from Melbourne.
Seeing the Eagles live is a “have to do it before I die” thing for me. Kind of like having a private Lucinda concert for me and my friends is. I’ll invite some of you if you like. I’m imagining its in the 10 to 20 k range, plus airfare, accomodations, and expenses with just Doug, but what do I know.
Ha ha,
Steve
