    Anyone?

I found one tweet indicating Lu covered Nick Drake’s “Riverman.”

Fine stuff, though light (one song) from the newest of the new. Still, what I wouldn’t have given to go GREEN in that audience. . . Rumour has it Doug became a secondtime father two weeks prior to due date; I prefer to call that the gods of tour band composition solving a certain issue with lead guitar for the first leg of the tour. Congrats to Doug and Liz, and well done getting mucho face time with the youngster before getting on a plane, Doug.

And now I’m off to log in to facebook.com/lucinda/williams 👿

Mr. Stoger is hooked on Facebook. How soon until he joins and posts daily about his exploits? 😛

Good find, lwj. I’m happy to see Lu on the setlist.fm radar. Now pining for stoger type commentary with brackets.

Thanks for the setlist guys, great to know that Lucinda is actually this side of the water again at last,
still hoping for Blue at either Perth or Edinburgh, hope to see some of you there also.

And congrats to Doug and family on the new addition, best wishes to all.

Seems Mr. Sutton stole the show in Dublin.
    An excerpt from a review.

Williams has an easy rapport with the clearly adoring crowd and tonight’s gig is a low key joy, anecdotal and musically first rate. Sutton switches between electric and double bass throughout, and his harmonious basslines are the underlying triumph of the night. Pettigrew is certainly no slouch either, whether it’s tearing apart a solo, picking out some folk-style mandolin, or teasing out those peals of lapsteel guitar on top of Williams’ rhythmic strumming. It’s a gig that imperceptibly gains in energy, no doubt in part down to Williams’ mid-gig electric embargo, a game-changer that could have thrown things off balance but here only seems to instil more fervour in the players. Hats off to you Lucinda, and remind us never to get on your bad side.

    The full review.

Hudson Hawk Pettigrew–er, Pettibone, to be complete. Maybe a nod to one of Levon Helm’s first bands, Ronnie Hawkins and the Hawks?
