I have just this minute returned home from Thursday`s show at the Tripod in Dublin, where I witnessed probably the best gig I have ever seen, and I have not missed a Springsteen tour for twenty years, yes it was that good. I can only list the tracks from memory, I`m sure I`ve missed some, and also they are not in running order, sorry : –
Pineola
Rescue
Fruits Of My Labour
Righeously
Lake Charles (Special Request)
Drunken Angel
Out Of Touch
Honey Bee
Those Three Days
Come On
Essence
Joy
Riders On The Storm
Marching The Hate Machines Into The Sun
WestI know I have missed some, and not in correct order, but I did not want to guess the others and get it wrong.
Evident from the start that Lucinda and the boys were looking forward to the night, and the prospect of some time off after their long tour, got in early and right at centre front, Lake Charles was introduced as a request and at the end Lu blew ME a kiss. 😳 , some good interaction and stories from Lu all evening and really if she had played all the requests from the crowd we would still be there yet. 😆
Great band, great sound..only minor thing was the volume on Lu`s mic was a bit low after some of the solo`s, but like Lu I want to strive for perfection, and this was damn close.
Perfect night ended when I managed to get one of Butch`s` drumsticks as a souvenir.Lu hurry back please.
Love,Peace and Revolution.

It would make a fabulous DVD, and if it was, who knows what I would do to get my hands on a copy ???
