Doug’s record will be mailed to those who participated in his campaign starting this week. It is nothing like his first record. I think you will like it.
P.S. Let me edit this. I liked his first record. I like this one. I am not comparing the two. It’s just different in that he rocks out.

Doug did a solo show last Thursday in Westlake Village CA and I video taped it. I am out of town but if and when I get home I will post it on You Tube.
I will also attempt to video this Saturday’s show at the Hotel Cafe which will be with a full band.

Doug’s CD release party at The Hotel Café was a huge success! The Love Band rode again as Doug was joined by Jimmy Christie, Taras Prodaniuk, and Phil Parlapiano in a rocking performance of Doug’s CD “Gone”. The place was packed. FF members Grumpymama and Stellablueee came and showed their support. I’m sure LW would have been there if she were not out of town.
I video recorded this show, as well as the Bogie’s show, and I will make it available as soon as Doug sees it and approves.

Oh man, this must have been a delight. Though Christie had not quite yet joined the band, the other three you name were part of the first Lu show I ever saw, Knoxville 2001 (May 23).
By the way, Mr. Executive Producer, do you think I could get an actual CD of Doug’s new one, as a contributor to his Kickstarter? It never came in the mail.

Here’s an fyi that was prompted by the news it was just Michelle Phillips birthday the other day. I was at a show of Doug’s in Westlake Village a couple weeks ago and Michelle Phillips was there!! I chatted with her briefly and she was very nice. Somehow I forgot this until now. And now the world knows. 8)
