weird. i live in a city with the bluest sky of the world (yes, it’s cientifically proven) with some barbarian stuff happening under it. it’s weird to be mugged or shot when the sky is clear and the sun is warm. doesn’t make any sense.
Parker -Glad to hear you are ok–I was watching the footage on the bus on the ride back home and was hoping that you and BigDunc and all of our Okla friends were safe and sound.
It’s all been a little crazy–we left Chicago Sun night and we went thru the Joplin right after it happened and drove to Tulsa – then we left Okla. in time to beat the tornados there. We’ve been dodging some bullets this year -our tally is now 3 blizzards, 3 tornado fronts, a hail storm, a couple of thunderstorms and playing on grounds that were under the Mississippi River a week later. Just got back to LA and feeling lucky but very saddened by what has happened in the midwest and south this spring.
@TomO Glad you, Lu and the band made it back safely. It has been a crazy year for weather. I can’t believe Joplin. I grew up in Picher, Oklahoma (about 30 mins away from Joplin). Picher was completely destroyed 3 years ago this may and now is just a ghost town. It is all really sad.
The south side of Stillwater got hit by a small twister. Luckily we didn’t get any damage.
