    Q Magazine (february 2008) describes Dawn Kinnard as “a young Lucinda Williams”. Is this realistic?

    Q is certainly loving her, I have noticed her in the last two issues. I see the comparisons but I’ve also read comparisons with Tom Waits(she’s certainly left of center), Cat Power and Billy Holiday all of which are relevant. She’s definitely good! …I have had the opportunity to see her live.
