Grammy award winning producer, engineer, and studio owner David Bianco died yesterday of a stroke. He owned Dave’s Room, a studio in North Hollywood that had become home to Lucinda in the last couple of years. He worked with Bob Dylan, Mick Jagger, and won a Grammy for Tom Petty’s Wildflowers. I met him several times at his studio or out and about in the clubs in Hollywood and he was a very sweet, friendly man. He worked as hard with unknowns as he did with the mega-stars. He will be deeply missed.

And the list could go on and on.

That video is from Dave’s Room, as was the night of the Facebook live session from the Sweet Old World remake.
