awesome show at the charlottesville pavillion last time lucinda was there.
I got a front row center seat. This will be the closest I’ve ever been at a Lucinda concert. I’m sure my ears will be ringing. They did last time I saw her at the same venue. I was in the 6th or 7th row the last time.
Is anyone else that posts here going?
Thanks for the tip, DavidW; I looked at the seating chart the other day and it looked safely general admission up front, with only a few “orchestra” seats in red in the middle of the chart. But your “front row” comment caused me to call the venue and learn that the reserved seats go pretty much all the way up to the stage, the GA folks exiled to “concrete” perches off to the side (though presumbably not behind barbed wire). I could only manage 5th row by that point, but not too shabby. See you there.
Stoger, you are real close to the stage on the 5th row. The last time I saw her at the Pavillion a lot of the people from the GA section ended up standing/dancing right in front of the stage. The aisles, including the middle, were also full of people dancing. Lu encouraged it. That was later in the show. I think it was over half way through the concert. So I am expecting it to get really crowded in front of me before the night is over.
I just saw David Byrne at the Pavillion with a 2nd row center seat. The stage is elevated, and when you are that close you can’t see their feet unless you are standing.
