With everything that’s going on it’s getting hard to keep these timely. Great off night on a perfect fall day in Chicago spent listening to the mixes of the new record -I think we’re getting very close to having it wrapped up. And we really need to if we’re going to get it out in Jan. We’ve had a lot of different thing happen at Lu shows but I think we had a first. Earlier in the day someone reached out and asked if we were going to play Essence and if we were where in the set were going to play it. The reason was, this person explained was that she wanted to propose to her partner during the song because they played it with their band and it had become there song. Yes, Lucinda played Essence and yes we think the proposal was accepted. Congratulations. Also of note was probably the best version yet of Bruce Springsteen’s The Rising -and yes the birthday got a got Happy Birthday shout out from Lu. Celebration all around.
