Here’s a review of one of the all-time greats!

This is a very good album – I picked up a copy when we saw Charlie open for Lu at the Kentucky Theater in Lexington, KY & got him to sign it for me in the lobby after his set….

Hi Tom, are you sure that it’s the same album? Last year was his “comeback” album with special guests included. This is another one with mostly gospel songs. I checked yesterday and they said it won’t be out until September 16.

Your’re right, Tim – my bad. When I went to the link & saw the cover art from the previous album at the top of the page, I didn’t bother reading the review (I was in a hurry to catch up on the posts here as I only had a few minutes before having to leave), I assumed it was of the album I have. Kinda weird that they put the cover art of “Charlie Louvin” at the top like that, but I guess that was the only graphic they had.

    That’s what I get for being in a hurry… 😳

Tom, you’re not bad, you’re good! It sounds like this new one is going to be another keeper. The guy just keeps going on. Keep in mind; he has another album due out on Dec 9 called “Sings Murder Ballads & Disaster Songs”.

Now THAT sounds like an interesting album. Not that I have anything against religous music, but this sounds more up my alley than his next album… 😉
