yes, great show last night. it was nice to meet and visit with Parker, his lovely wife, and Stoger there.
i think Lucinda and the band enjoyed themselves, i know i did. i was about 3 or 4 heads back from the stage on the right, between Lucinda and the guitar player (great location), for most of the show. thanks for posting the setlist, Parker.

I was shocked, frustrated, and embarrassed at the number of people chattering away during the concert. Not only lots of talking around me (~15 ft from the rail, center), but you could hear a general level of conversation coming from all around the room. Ridiculous.

That is frustrating. Another big pet peeve of mine are the hordes of concert goers that think they need to record the ENTIRE SHOW on their smart phones. I’m guilty of a photo or short video here and there but not the entire show. Can’t wait to print off all those high quality phone pics. uggg 🙄

My NUMBER ONE pet peeve at concerts. Rude, rude, RUDE to others who are there to listen AND to the performers! 👿 Some folks just plain suck…

Hey my Canadian friend, I was quite as a mouse during “Ventura,” just so you know.

For all my Cain’s bashing, I should add that my hotel shuttle driver told me it was one of only three stops on the famed Sex Pistols tour, east coast, west coast, and downtown Tulsa. I’ll concede some points there.

And I know some of you don’t feel I cover the fashion angle sufficiently from show to show, so I would like to add that Lu and Blake sported “matching” flannel checked shirts for Tulsa, hers more red/pink, his orange. The rhythm section boldly went with one-tone dark colors. I was told Butch donned a banana upon his re-walk-on after “Lake Charles” & “Ugly Truth,” but I could not verify this empirically.

I understand there is a hole in the wall back stage where Sid Vicious punched it.

Great reports as usual stoger. Why, today reinforces what I already knew-your wealth of music and details, never ceases to amaze me.
Today you have posted almost as many times as Lafayette did covering the Lost Highway anniversary show with a wide gambit of rainy KC, noisy Cain’s ( I know it wasn’t you chattering ), to the desert with Jim L., to Pieta & Carrie to Pegi Y.(complete with the Greendale crew reference-I have that DVD)

OK, now to the fashion angle.
We have Erika Wennerstrom donning a cowboy hat for the first time (at Stubb’s) that I am aware of from her videos and the three HB’s concerts I’ve been to but, alas I don’t think Lucinda packed any at all during 2011 so far.

Butch donned a banana. Surely must be a typo. 😆
Keep on reporting from the highways and biways stoger.
    Great stuff.
