Just my 2¢ on the cover art, I would have picked this for the new 2 CD.

Questions/comments:
1) Is the guitar that starts at 2:30 of the song Stuart or Bill Frisell? I’m thinking Stuart…
2) WHO is the background singer at 3:50???
3) So, in my continuing efforts to musically educate the kids in my carpool (2nd, 6th and 9th graders), I played “Burning Bridges” this morning on the way to school, and the 2nd grader asks “is she singing about the same guy that made her change all those locks?” My work here is done. They are beginning to understand that songs are messages from the heart 🙂
4) The song sounds great REALLY LOUD in an enclosed vehicle 🙂

Not entirely new, as Gia C was on West and maybe other records, most notably vocalizing on “Learning How to Live.” Leisz of course has been all over her material, and Jonathan Wilson produced and played on one or more Lu efforts, perhaps the Jackson Browne tribute song, though I can’t remember for sure.
The Bill Frissell material is being held for the next record, hopefully year 2015!
