hello. earlier this year a friend introduced me to lucinda williams’ music and i haven’t been the same since.
i’m wondering if any of you know where i could download live versions of “broken butterflies” and/or “minneapolis.” (please note i purchased all of lucinda’s albums and, in my request, i’m looking for live bootlegged versions of these songs, versions that aren’t commercially available.)

Dang, I checked my collection of live boots (not that big, but respectable), and I have neither song in all the shows I have. Not surprising, though, considering that these are two songs that Lu does not perform live very often…
You say you have purchased all of Lu’s albums, but does that include the two 5-CD live sets from the El Rey in LA & Irving Plaza / Town Hall in NYC? If not, you can order them here at https://www.lucindawilliams.com/store.php (click on the “Limited Live Show CDs” link to the left under “Shop By Category”). If you got the two live versions of Essence & of World Without Tears, that would give you 2 live versions each of “Broken Butterflies” & “Minneapolis”, respectively.

My husband bought me the self-title album around ’03(?)….then I had to buy the rest.(got the 10 live show discs at a minneapolis show) I was never the same either. Lucinda has got me through some dark days! You should check out her Artists Choice CD too, it’s cool.
