Thank you tonyg for getting the thread started! It was a great night to see Lu, I will try to be as thorough as our good friend Mr. Stoger.

1- Steal Your Love- Travis so graciously walks Lu out while the band starts off the song.
2- Can’t Let Go- Lu mentions her excitement to be back in “Boston and New England.” She says it has been a few years since she has been up this way and that she has missed it so- she went on to say some her favorite music comes from Boston and then got a bit side tracked and started the song. First change of the night from previous show Crescent City out CLG in.
3- Drunken Angel- Lu does the usual intro about Blaze, Ethan Hawke is mentioned, wild & wooly Blaze who liked to drink.
4- Lake Charles- the usual story about Clyde and his affinity for Lousiana.
5- Big Black Train- Lu holds up her water bottle and yells plastic kills! She then kindly asks her tech for some more water, it was a hot one! Second change of the night from last show Big Black Train replaces “Fruits.” I was hoping for Fruits of My Labor, but Lu did a really nice version of this and dedicated it to Bruce Springsteen.
6- Are You Down- w/ the extended jam
7- Stolen Moments– we need the red ink, this is a Bonnie run debut. It was great to hear live and Lu says it will be on the “new album.”
    8- You Can’t Rule Me
    9- Honey Bee
10- Righteously- Lu introduces the band and talks about the “darn friggin’ stroke,” for the first time. She thanks the band, Bonnie, and the crew for having her back. She mentions that it is the biggest drag to still be relearning the guitar but that it will prevail.

    Extra notes:
-Joy was cut for time, set was 7:30-8:30
-Lu’s voice was in fine form and seems completely unscathed from the stroke. It has been amazing to see how far she has come just from last year at this time.
-She stood for the whole set and stayed away from holding on to the chair.

Get your Lu fix while you can!

Aw shucks, Tony, you flatter me overmuch. Still, we appreciate the detail Seangod. Lu will be back in New England late summer, so I expect to see you. Matter of fact, you should consider hopping the Amtrak to the Beacon Manhattan. . .

Now if only our Modera–er–I mean, our Keymaster, could convert white ink into red, as he no doubt does water into wine on a regular basis.

Don’t forget making my own communion hosts. I’ll see if there is a red ink module in here.

I don’t have permission to do color but I made that song bold. Bold!
