Bill was a great singer/songwriter from Texas. He lived briefly in NYC, did a few gigs, then moved away. Bill was friends with Lucinda, when she was gigging in New York. A close friend and I were singing backup for Bill (this was in the early 80’s). After Bill disappeared, we tried contacting Lucinda to see if she had the skinny on Bill’s whereabouts. I received a postcard from her (dated March 1985), giving me an address in Dallas. Well Bill never did settle for long, cause that proved to be a dead end. I guess what I’m trying to do here is appeal to Lucinda again, (or anyone else for that matter) and see if she can shed light on the whereabouts of the elusive (and enormously talented) Bill Priest – A bunch of folk from the East Coast are hankerin to hear from him!!!
And many many congrats to Ms LW for her incredible successes – seems if you believe in something enough, it attracts all the right stuff – kudos to you, Lucinda!Ciao,
