    Just wanted to reach out an see if anyone out there knows BigDunc who used to post regularly in here but hasn’t been in here for awhile. I’ve met him at a couple in Texas and Oklahoma (he lives in Okla) -he’s a great guy and great fan and I know he would want to be at the shows at the Blue Door. I pm’ed him and don’t know if he will get it- but if anyone knows him I just want to make sure he know about these shows.

    I seem to remember meeting him at a show at some point myself, but I do not know how to get in touch with him. Maybe ParkerCA knows him – he lives in OK also. I’ll send him an e-mail w/ a link to this thread & see…

    EDIT: I think we (stoger, West Words & paul_from_losangeles) met him at the first solo acoustic show in Fayetteville last Fall…

    I remember him from the Diamond Ballroom show in OKC. I hope he is ok.

    Yes -he was at the Diamond Ballroom show and I first met him at the Dallas HOB show also. He may have emailed me back around that time -going to see if I can find it.

    TomT – you have a good memory! I think that was BigDunc in Fayetteville – cool guy! For sure, he was from Oklahoma. I hope we track him down. 🙂

    I have managed to figure out that one of his names is Duncan and someone named Steve Wampler responded to him in an old thread. He also mentioned in another thread from 2007 how great it would be for Lu to play the Blue Door. C’mon Dunc where are you?

    Oh man, he’s going to miss out. I remember he said he was from Lawton. About 3 hrs south west of OKC.
    I hope he comes to the show.

    Sorry, I’ve had some beers and tomorrow is a snow day at Oklahoma State Univ. No work for me! kinda celebrating. haha

    He’s actually from Medicine Park which I think he mentioned is only 70 miles to OKC.

    Medicine Park is a little northwest of Lawton. I am wrong about the 3 hrs from OKC. It has been a while since I’ve been down there.
