Just wanted to make sure you know that 7/16 is next FRIDAY β π
Did she perhaps mean that’s when the show tickets go on sale?

Yes, tickets for the Sacramento show go on sale next Friday, 7/16
I just wanted to clarify that it’s Friday, not Saturday… God, I’m so anal. πJuly 10, 2010 at 7:05 pm #43713West WordsParticipantYes, tickets for the Sacramento show go on sale next Friday, 7/16

Gotta go check my Outlook calendar to see where I actually put the reminder. Thanks again! π
July 14, 2010 at 5:52 pm #43714tonygKeymasterTom, what west coast shows are you attending? I believe the Queen Mary show is one.

Yes. My wife & I are attending the Long Beach & San Diego shows, while a friend of mine in SF & I will be attending the Saratoga / Mountain Winery show.
We were contemplating attending the Napa and Sacramento shows, but decided, given the short travel time frame between Napa & Long Beach, to instead rent a car in SF on that Tuesday & take a leisurely two day drive down the coast & enjoying the natural beauty of the SoCal coast. It’s been 28 years since I traveled in this area, & my wife has never seen it.

July 14, 2010 at 6:34 pm #43716tonygKeymasterGotcha. Napa to Long beach in one day would have been a road race.

August 11, 2010 at 6:51 am #43718West WordsParticipantIs anyone else getting butterflies in anticipation of this month’s shows?! π― π
I think these performances will be extra, extra special. Lu just continues to blossom and expand as an artist – it hardly seems like there would be any room for improvement, but if anyone could do it…

Apologies for not adding the venues -just wanted to get the dates up the minute they were confirmed.
Also -There is 99% chance that these will be the only shows this year, as any future shows will be in support of the new record which we are trying to finish in time for a late Oct. release. More on that soon.BUT WAIT:
Just posted hours ago on Lucinda’s Facebook.

Tom Overby β{Lucinda mgmt} At the rehearsal studio now– getting ready for these upcoming shows-Lucinda is really excited about how the band is sounding with Val McCallum on guitar-really bringing some new things to the songs. New songs are sounding fantastic. When the boss is smiling everybody’s happy.
These should be some fun shows. Might now be a possibility of some more shows in Sept.

P.S. Β‘Actually, Hoy!
August 18, 2010 at 1:40 am #43724West WordsParticipantIn anticipation of next week’s shows, and tonight’s reviews, I looked at the google map where the Sacramento venue is. On the google map, on the next block over, it shows the Cathedral of the “Blessed”. Coincidence? I think not! π
The church’s name is actually Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, but it was shortened on the map.
Can’t wait till next week. π

I love your map find. You’re my kind of gal, Sandy. π
