After many complications we have finally confirmed the rest of the August shows. I am also thrilled to be able to say that we will have JP, Chrissie and the Fairground Boys opening on some of the shows. This is Chrissie Hynde’s new side project that she is very excited about.
I am also happy to be able to add that only the Saratoga show is a Live Nation show, which should keep the additional fees down:8/17-Ventura
8/18-Saratoga Mt. Winery (no Chrissie)
8/20-Eugene (no Chrissie)
8/21-Redmond (Seattle) No Depression Festival (no Chrissie)
8/22-Portland (no Chrissie)
8/24-Sacramento (tentative)
25-Napa
26-Long Beach (Queen Mary)
27-San Diego (Humphreys)WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!! 😀
And Chrissie Hynde for 4 or 5 of the shows (“or” because Sacramento is tentative)!!!!
Tom & Lu, Sarah & I will see you at Mountain Winery, Long Beach & San Diego! (Assuming reservations, etc. work out – I’m off to make them now!)

Have fun TNT! Nice vacation, so it sounds, traveling the west coast. Maybe you could hitch a ride on the tour bus…I hear Butch is quite the gourmet cook.
Depending on travel constraints and real-life challenges, I am planning on Sacramento thru San Diego. (P.S. Sandyeggo is my West Coast name. Sandy Claus is my Christmas name. How bad is that?!)
Can’t wait to see everyone again. 😀

Yeah – we have a very dear friend who lives in San Francisco. He will go to the Saratoga show with me (Sarah has a prior commitment, and will fly out to SF the Saturday after the Saratoga show & meet me there). We are going to visit with him several days before jumping down to LA & SD.
The really cool thing is our friend is Louisiana born & bred (born in Baton Rouge, went to LSU & lived afterwards in NOLA for several years) & is a big Lu fan. He has seen her before at Mountain Winery.
So not only is this a Lu trip, but it is a reunion of sorts & a chance to catch up with him!

A “sticky thread” is one that remains at the very top of the sub-forum list, regardless of other, non-sticky threads that may have newer posts. Hence the “sticky” – they “stick” to the top of the list.
It’s a feature that was recently enabled thanks to WebMASTA… 😉
