10-4, lwj. Same time zone as those “Blue Canadian Rockies” Cindy Walker made such a big deal about, eh? Amazing that the Arizona desert shares that with certain segments of your land (Jasper maybe? Kaloomps?). Only 90 minutes to go. . .

Ho hum, guess Ticketmaster means Pacific Time a la Vancouver BC, though does Arizona even observe Daylight Savings Time?

Ah, Pacific Time. A very helpful Harold’s employee answered on the first ring; I’m pretty sure Billy Bob put me on hold way back when. VIP seems to suggest “first few rows” of seats, with “access to our gallery area.” I don’t quite think it’s worth 80 bucks, but I may be wrong. I did verify that GA standing will get you close (sides) but not real close, as there’s zero standing/dancing/swaying space between the stage and VIP row one of seats, centered. The middle package of GA seated at 35 plus fees seems the most prudent of the three tiers.

Yet after all that build-up, I’m still procrastinating and couldn’t bring myself to make the purchase choice just yet. . . .

    To follow-up stoger’s comments,
Ticketmaster is displaying 4 tiers of tickets for Harold’s Corral:

    PREMIER VIP SEATING: $150+$12.50=$162.50
Premier VIP Seating includes first row seat, a $25 Harold’s Gift Certificate & meet and greet.

    VIP SEATING: $75+$8=$83
VIP Seating is seating in rows 2 through 6

    GENERAL ADMISSION SEATING: $35+$6.50=$41.50
    GENERAL ADMISSION STANDING: $25+$6=$31

You’re the man, Paul. I missed that top tier, not to mention the rows 2-6 grouping: Good work.

Now that the Australia / NZ tour is over, we have 3 shows coming up soon.
Apr. 20 at the Moody Theater in Austin, TX-Johnny Cash Tribute.
I’m betting Lucinda will perform”Jackson” from CWOAGR as Johnny and June Carter won a Grammy in 1968 for their cover(different lyrics).
Apr. 27-again in Austin for the Food / Wine Festival
Apr. 28-Cave Creek, AZ Chicks With Picks (haven’t got a clue what time zone for the show stoger 馃槅 )

So, will Lu fly back to LA for Apr.21 thru Apr.26 ? or will she surprise us again ?
Maybe a jaunt to Fayetteville, AR to visit her dad and maybe Georges’s Majestic Theatre will approach her again fo a couple of back to back shows.
Any other thoughts from the friendly forum ?

A nice tribute to Willie Nelson will be unveiled next Friday in Austin before the Johnny Cash tribute.

I wish I was going to Austin and then head to Knoxville for Amos. I couldn’t do both so I chose the closer locale. Fingers crossed I can get my Lu fix sometime in 2012.

After getting back from Australia there will be a couple shows at the end of April. Although they have not yet been officially announced yet, Lucinda will be appearing 4/27 at the Wine & Food festival in Austin and 4/28 in Phoenix at Cave Creek.

For those in the Austin, TX area the only way to see Lucinda this Friday is to purchase a VIP pass, y’all have less than two days to win the lottery or mortgage your house. 馃槅
