antwerpen show

Last night I was at the antwerpen show .
OLT is a open theater between trees in a park.between stage and first seats is walkway and water ~10 meter. this time the water was covered . at beginning everybody took a seat.
Buick6 started with instrumentals , last number with some michael jackson-tunes enclosed.
bravo butch; in dutch we have a saying “hij stal de show”

butch requested to come closer as lucinda preffered this. some did, including me.
lucinda did a very good show, maybe a bit short: 90 min
no false starts, no leaf through her songbook. her voice was pure, without a sharp edge.
in the louder parts it was pity that the people in front couldnt hear well what she sang.
maybe this is because bands nowadays use in-ear in stead of monitorboxes
happily the guitars compensated this in a huge way
chet and eric alternated the leadguitar. to my own surprise I didnt miss doug (which made a great impression to me earlier) b6 gave a perfect strong and tight rock show!
with the band intro lu underlined that they were a band and not an a singer-songwriter accompanied with musicians

according to a bunch of girls near me , she looked about the same as in utrecht.
one of them threw her hat on stage, crewmember placed it on stagebox so that she couldnt step on it, but lucinda gave it back. in reaction Lu told she was surprised in positive way, that this is possible here and told things work different back home, where she is more surrounded by security.

not to forget , i payed 25 euro, normaly famous artists on her level, ask at least 3 to 4 x more
knowing most fans will pay without thinking. maybe this is the reason why the show was a bit shorter
