Hey stoger, I don’t know if you are a fan of Anne’s music ( however with all the Lu shows you have attended you probably saw her open for Lucinda in 2007 ) so here’s a no cover show in Nashville.

    Event Information
6:30 In The Round with Anne Mccue, Ashleigh Flynn, Reckless Johnny Wales and Amelia White, no cover

    In the Round

    The Bluebird Cafe
    Friday, Nov 16, 2012 6:30 PM
$7 Food and Beverage Minimum ***Parties of 6 or more will be charged an automatic 20% gratuity.

Tickets per order – Minimum: 1 Maximum: 15
    The Bluebird on TV.
On October 10, 2012 The Bluebird Cafe made its primetime debut on the ABC drama Nashville. The Bluebird Cafe is a key factor in the showโ€™s plotline which deals with both the music industry in Nashville, the political climate in Nashville and the key players in both these โ€œworlds,โ€ which often collide. Nashville the city is also showcased in the beautiful cinematography of the show each week.

EDIT: Oops Now I see you are a big fan of Anne’s after a review of prior posts.

Thanks guys, but once again I will have to miss Nashville on a Friday night this month. Too bad. Tony, I thought you were moving to east Nash anyway…

As if I have any. I still am not wearing a jacket to work. Just a short sleaved shirt. And it’s November 1!

I sure may be inclined tnt to subscribe especially since Anne mentioned in her video a tour for her new record including Canada. The video was very well executed.

Might our erstwhile Forum moderator have a timely report on the doings of this whiz?

Which one of us is the erstwhile one? The last I heard is she went back into the studio and recorded new songs and tossed some of the ones she had already done. I think it is due in the spring.

I also think she just played Atlanta so maybe the other guy has news.

It’s the “other guy,” the former (i.e., “erstwhile”) moderator. Now don’t come back on me with some obscure golfing terminology to match my own adjectives here.

A recent You Tube from a house concert.
Song is “On the Road to Revenge”
Perhaps it’s a song from Anne’s new record.
    Enjoy.

Also a heads up to stoger if he is stll in TN before a return to Lu’s shows in the Empire State.

This Monday June 16th I’ll be joined by some amazing musicians – John McTigue III, Randy Leago and Chris Autry plus The Wild Ponies, Them Vibes, Tommy Womack… At the Five Spot, Nashville. We go on at 6 pm sharp! โ€” with Anne McCue.

(Randy Leago was on Lu’s 1998 Austin DVD on the Hammond organ)
