Must be a slow news day in the music scene.

Lu said nothing about the crime, rather spoke about a gentleman she saw the day before in the park across from the venue who was most likely down on his luck, who a few hours before the show took ill and was taken away by ambulance. ( Dominic and I happened to walk right smack in that park when some one was receiving CPR from EMTs ) Lu expressing nothing but compassion for those with no health care. Classy Lady! Born to be Loved was one of those, what should we do next moments, and David said Born to be Loved, and so it was done.
May 10, 2017 at 4:35 pm #55825LafayetteParticipantLu mentions she is getting ready to start on her memoirs?!!

To say that we had two very eventful days in Annapolis would be putting on extra mild sauce. It’s all too lengthy to go into here so we will do it separately time permitting, but let’s just say it would make a couple of chapters of The Tour Bus Diaries. Anyway it was a great show in the intimate room at Ram’s Head. Right off the bat the tone of the show was set with one of the best versions of Blessed that we’ve played in a while. Born To Be Loved finally made it back into the setlist for the first time in at least a year and Lu and band thought it sounded great. Are You Alright almost made but it will get in there soon. Ventura and Metal Firecracker were also first timers for this run. It’s small but Rams Head is a fun room to play -no doubt about it.
