Well, here we have Angela playing on the saw from NXNE in Toronto on June 13th. ( The show I didn’t attend as it was only a 40 minute set starting at midnight.)
I see from her schedule they play almost daily in Ohio and sometimes 2 or 3 shows in one day.
I’m hoping she can venture further North to say Sandusky or Cleveland sometime as that would be an easy drive for me.
    Enjoy the video.

I hope Angela makes it to the northern part of the great state of Ohio. Keep watching her schedule.

Ask and you shall receive, lwj, or something along those lines.

You could be snowed in, however, she is playing Cleveland in December.

    Fingers crossed for you, tnt!

She is playing three shows in Cincinnati in the next few months. Next week at Southgate House, a bar in August, and she was just accepted to play the MidPoint Music Festival in late September.

Yeah, the “problem” is, Amy LaVere is playing the exact same venue two nights later, and I really, REALLY want to see her as well. Two roundtrips to Greenville in two days? At 2 hours, 15 minutes each way, that could be doable if I can get the requisite kitchen passes… 😉

Begin pacing the floor. That’s my M.O. when I want to ask for a kitchen pass. 😀

Hpoe you can make it twice to Greenville, Tom.
The Southern Culture Kitchen & Bar venue looks great and you won’t starve after looking at their menu.

Somehow, I gotta make it to Cleveland on December 7th. I switch to 4 winter tires every season.

Now back to the Howlin’ Moons on a Saturday moring. I wore out my toe-tappin’ on their delightful down home music.
Watch a full hour from The London, OH Public Library from June 21st. I downloaded this one.Angela plays the harmonica in this set too.

Good stuff there, outside of the public library. She’s climbing up the charts, for me, as a personal favorite.

    Great article Lafayette.
Most interesting that Angela has a following in the UK.
Hope you make it tonight to the Southgate House Revival and that tntracy makes it to Greenville, SC.
They are truly an unique band and alas, poor me I have to wait until December in Cleveland to see them live.
In the meantime you would be hard pressed to find another bouncy, toe tappin’, happy video such as this one from Columbus, OH with the tune ” Come on Home”
    Enjoy.

Great video, lwj! It certainly captures the essence that is Angela.

The show was great last night. 3 sets. The last one was very short, but in speaking to Angela and her front man, Chris, during a break, they decided to play “Jackson,” after much Lucinda discussion. Angela counts Lu as one of her influences. Much admiration. Wanda Jackson as well.

Lafayette, an Interesting name choice on Angela’s facebook for her new photo album is “Ramblin'”

Found out that the Howlin’ Moons will be at Bamboozles Restaurant and Bar on Friday November 8, 2013 in Parma, OH just south of Cleveland. They have Fish Fry Fridays and one of the band member’s relatives owns this dive bar. Should be fun and the weather should be better than in December in Cleveland.

I’m hoping Angela’s first full length album will be out by then. (Maybe get her autograph)

Side note: Have a great trip to The Ellnora Guitar Festival and of course football this weekend.

Most excellent for you Parma was added to her show list! She’s added another Southgate House date to her calendar on Nov 16, one I think I can make. Her Dayton show I had planned on attending, the night after Parma, I realized I will be in Indianapolis at an Amos show. Her SH gig on Sept 14 finds me chasing the kid around during the day at a Cross Country meet followed by a UC football night game. I’m not sure my better half (or myself) will have enough gas to stop in and catch her set.
