    Bonus, Lafayette.
    Amos comes to Canada as per e-mail received today announcing the “Live From SOHO” album.
    Oct. 27/11 in Toronto at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre.-Great venue-
    Tickets $40.00 US even lower in CDN$ eh!
    Saw Lu there ( and met her, Tom and the band ) for her 30th anniversary tour in Oct./09

    Since I missed him with Lu in Cleveland this is a great opportunity now to see him.

    Have you entered yet to win, Lafayette ?
    The “Secret” show in Tucson.
    Not valid for Canadian entries.
    Wonder if airfare+ accomodations are included ? 😆

    Air fare and accommodations are not included. My guess is they pull from the locals as someone who will *win* this contest.

    I doubt I make any more Amos shows this tour. 🙁 The AMA’s, 2 Mellencamp shows and a Lu show, all within a short time frame, means few kitchen passes left to be issued.

    By the way, song 4 of the White House set that LWJ reports on was “America” by Simon and Garfunkel. Amos talked about doing this song at the WH when he performed it in LA on Saturday.

    I really thought hard about trying to go to Boston HOB show if I could find reasonable airfare (oxymoron) but then Lu’s Knoxville show was announced (same day) and I decided that show worked best for me!

    I expect a full report. 😆 😀

    Well Lafayette, after receiving Amos new email today I bought my ticket $42.75 (Row G-not bad) to see him and Pieta Brown in Toronto Oct. 27th.
    Now I have to stay up late tonight to catch his appearance on Jay Leno.
    BONUS I hope the Americana awards show in Nashville webcast works great not only to see Lucinda but now Amos as well.

    Very jealous of your ticket to see Amos & Pieta! It will be a perfect show for you to see him, setting wise. I would have considered it but it’s my son’s birthday the following day.

    He’s also on Rachel Ray on Monday Oct 17, playing “Out of the Cold”

    I have the timer on the kitchen stove set so I don’t forget to turn on Jay. 😆
