Oh my. The house band featured two guys from the Mandolin covers era, Josh Grange & Fred Effingham (sp?). They played on four of these five. Interspersed were a few live speeches (kudos Bill Bentley) and some videotaped tributes from Steve Earle, Elizabeth Cook, and Ray Kennedy (the latter two were also in the house). Brief words on video from Mike Campbell, Robert Plant, Sharon Von Etten, and Dwight Yoakam were also featured.

Thanks to Tom Overby for getting me in on this, albeit with just three days notice. My schedule: it can be cleared in a flash.

Lu made a brief speech; a good time was had by all.

What an amazing event for you to witness! TO picked an amazing fan friend to be in attendance. I’m so happy you were able to attend, Stoger!

I know how much Amos loves “Little Angel, Little Brother,” an excellent song choice. Oh, how I would have loved to have seen this.

Such a well deserved honor for Lu.
