A request for help from Tom Overby

Hi Tom,

Hopefully you see this message. One of my favorite artists (after Lucinda Williams of course) is Robinella. Hopefully you have heard of her, she is a bluegrass, country, jazz singer from Tennessee. I hired her to play at a party this past Memorial Day weekend. Everyone enjoyed her music. When her band was done she brought out her “Merch Table” and to my surprise her best album, my favorite was not there. Robinella said that Columbia Records wants such a huge quantity of albums made that she has given up on it. I see now that the record is out of print and I’ve bought up every available copy to give back to her when I see her play in a few weeks. She is currently signed with Dualtone. Can I enlist you (send me a message about terms) to help her regain control of her music? Like I said, I’ll see her again next weekend and can get agent names. I just know you have been through this recently on the Rough Trade Album and know the ropes.
