While searching Amazon.com to see if “Little Honey” was listed yet as a pre-sale, I stumbled across this:
Lucinda Williams (33 1/3) (Paperback)
by Anders Smith Lindall (Author)This is from the “33 1/3” series of books on seminal music albums.
There isn’t a specific release date listed, except for “December, 2008” after the publisher’s name under “Product Details”.
Should be a great read – I’ve pre-ordered it!

I hope its better than the one on ‘Dusty In Memphis’. Christ, talk about dry. I’m surprised the damn thing didn’t burst into flames.
Right. I read the one on Neil Young and on someone else, I forget who.
You could learn more by reading the back of a cereal box.

Agreed–not very satisfying for Dusty fans.
so this book was postponed again (mid-2011 now!). i got the author’s e-mail and asked more about the release date and here’s what he had to say:
Thanks for your interest. I don’t know when the book will be released. There have been various delays, but it is substantially complete. I would love to get it out in the world for all to share–particularly if the book tour includes Brazil. 🙂
