Really glad the only shows within 3 hr drive are $100+ for tickets. (Brownfield and Prescott Park)
Normally each tour I’d catch 2 or 3 different shows for that price.I guess I won’t be able to hang out with all the beautiful people.
That’s pretty sad.June 22, 2012 at 9:19 pm #49858tonygKeymasterBob she added a show in Portland maine for 8/2 at the State Theater. Also there is a rumor of a Northampton MA show on 8/4. Give those a look. 8)
P.S. Portland Maine tix are under 50 bucks.
June 22, 2012 at 9:36 pm #49859TOverbyParticipantI think full details are needed on the two shows you mentioned as neither one is reven remotely for the “beautiful people”. The Brownfield shows include a full dinner -and an excellent one I might add–that is always the way they’ve done it-and the room only holds about 200 people. Prescott Park is for a table -I believe that means 4 people. It is sold out however-with a waiting list.
And yes there will be shows announced shortly in Portland, Maine (8/2) Northampton (8/4) and Ridgefield, CT (8/5)June 23, 2012 at 4:31 pm #49860lkaufmanParticipantAny closer to confirming dates in NYC Tom?
June 23, 2012 at 5:23 pm #49861hauntedParticipantPrescott Park is not sold out. The “reserved” tables and blankets are sold out. I believe the rest of the park is all general admission. This is on their site:
>Held in Prescott Park each Wednesday night, you’ll find some top-notch and riveting performers from around the globe. All offered in a gorgeous setting for a mere suggested $8 – $10 donation.
>Audience members are welcome to bring their own chairs or blankets to events.
Chairs are also available for rent on site (1 for $3, 2 for $5), as well as our VIP tables or blankets.
VIP tables are located in the stage center area and have a direct view of the events. As our events have large crowds, VIP tables are ready and waiting for you and allow you to avoid searching for a good spot to watch our shows.
Reserved blankets are located front and center in the stage area.
I believe this also applies to Lucinda’s show, although the show falls on a Sunday.
June 23, 2012 at 8:53 pm #49862TOverbyParticipantMy mistake on the Prescott show -I checked the site and it said that the tables and the blankets were sold out. I incorrectly assumed that the show was sold out, which it is not.
In regards to NYC, we have offers and a decision will probably be made on Monday.
June 24, 2012 at 4:53 am #49863lkaufmanParticipantGreat news re NYC! Will info post in this thread? Thanks Tom.
June 26, 2012 at 1:23 pm #49864bobParticipantsorry to all…I just did a quick check and did not realize there were dinners involved. Or general admission tix available.

Tom…Ridgefield Playhouse has an “Echoes of Sinatra” show booked on 8/5. Is the show somewhere else in Ridgefield CT?

Seems a relatively small town to boast dueling shows of this caliber–perhaps Lu Herself in a Baby Blue Eyes incarnation?
