Inside Job
ParticipantUnfortunately I have just come from Harro’s Ballroom where a pipe broke above the stage and water is dripping down on the stage. As a result tonight’s show has to be cancelled and will be rescheduled for Feb/March.

ParticipantThat’s a shame. Was just about out the door to head west – – don’t know what made me check the site here one last time. Thanks for posting the (sad) news, IJ. And, rugles, sorry about your hotel bill. Rochester has a few decent clubs w/ music. Not sure about Sunday nights, though. Try the Dinosaur BBQ for dinner if you like ribs ‘n’ such.
IJ: Rochester tickets will be honored for the rescheduled date next year?

Participantso the person who posted this works for the band or the management?
therefore has some reason to be at the venue 6 hours before the show?
i want to make sure

I call those twin roles definitive Lefty, will get a man to a venue well in advance of six hours. Sorry for this fan and others: the Hyatt, ouch. Hopefully you will get to go next winter or spring.

ParticipantI had my pad & pen at the ready, stoger. Come hell or high water, I was going to post a setlist for you from tonight’s show! 🙂

ParticipantYes – tickets will be honored for the rescheduled show. Full details coming from promoter tomorrow. I am having the notice out on the front page of the website asap in case anybody doesn’t look here. My sincere apologies for the inconvenience and expense. We apparently have a Rochester jinx as when we played here last year the show had to be moved indoors to the Armory which was about 100 degrees inside and we were very worried that Charlie Louvin who was opening was going to have a heatstroke -but it didn’t phase him.
We did get to hang out last year at Dinosaur BBQ which is a great place.I meant to also add that we are trying to update the setlists and should have them updated in the next couple of days and then we will hopefully post them nightly

ParticipantRochester’s had its chance, IJ – – time to come to the Salt City! The Landmark Theater in downtown Syracuse is a great ol’ venue. Let’s make it happen in ’09! 🙂

ParticipantLefty– Thanks for the Syracuse recommendation– we will need some other shows to route us back to Rochester next year. That’s just one of the reasons today is such a drag, but Lu loves playing up in this area so it will all work out.

ParticipantToo bad about the show tonight. My empathy goes out to those who were all psyched up to see Lu only to be disappointed. I know how you must feel.
Tom & Lu will make it up to y’all, I am sure. Maybe they’ll swing up that way after they come to Atlanta early next year? 😉 8)

Participanton the bright side, that means she’ll be back in the area in February…Yippee!

ParticipantNo since in passing up Buffalo while you’re so close in Feb/March. About an hour away Sheas or the Town Ballroom would be a great treat to Buffalo fans (especially ones that were very inconveniently out of town during the Massey Hall performance).
