Great show last night at the Calvin Theatre. Like the Collingswood thread, I won’t spoil the stories–even the ones we’ve heard in the past like “Drunken Angel” are full of new insight. The “CWOAGR” album segment was almost 90 min. It was like the LW version of Springsteen On Broadway (disclaimer: I haven’t seen, just heard one of the B.O.B. shows) Show started c.8:15pm and ended at 10:37pm.

An unbelievable, emotional concert. I’ve been seeing Lu since the Gurf duo days, and the concert last Saturday was up there with the best. The theater was a hair short of sold out, the crowd showered her with love, she admitted she felt very comfortable, and some tears were shed hearing her beautiful songs sung in that soothing voice. It’s two days later now and we can’t keep from discussing and reliving that magical night. See this tour. I wish I could, again.
