    From Tom:
Always love coming back to Fabrik. Another place with an amazing history both before it was a music club and after. It is a former machine parts factory. The building dates from around 1840) and consists of a large, central hall with wooden girders. An old crane still hangs over the entrance as a memorial to the building’s industrial past. Everyone from Miles Davis, BB King, Meat Loaf and Nirvana have played on that stage. A vibe like no other -a big reason why we thought it would be a great place to do a Facebook Live broadcast (we also had a great vantage point). The stage lighting made it hard to be perfectly clear -especially Lucinda but overall it came out good. The show however was way better than good. It was the best crowd we’ve ever had there and that’s always a great place to start. Lots of highlights -Burning Bridges has really been sounding great on this run and the Hamburg version may have been the best yet. Look At The World was solo and you could’ve heard a pin drop—same with Sweet Old World. And of course Foolishness brought the house down as it always does lately. Sweet em up and knock em down another great night. On to Cologne -or is it Koln?

I’ve been a part of two different Fabrik crowds,, but I’m not insulted by “the best crowd ever” comment. Somewhere in Hamburg there exists (still, I hope) a great record store where I bought WWT in vinyl and toted it in my minimal luggage space back to our shores, circa 2003.

Thanks for not mentioning I misspelled Hamburg. I must have been hungry when I wrote it.

    Corrected.  😆

Yes, but is it pronounced like the salty meat Ham-burg, or with the “ah” vowel sound? You are trained in this area, eh Tony?

I’m highly trained in a number of areas, including this one. It’s Ham, not Hahm. Hahm is what happens when you are in danger.

You betray your New England origins here, Tony.
