I’m barely ahead of TAO himself here, but yes I tripped to New England for the final three domestic shows. As my plane was four hours late and I walked in during “Lake Charles,” night one was rough for me. However, I have reconstructed tunes 1-7 below, with the aid of a setlist (thanks Bricko)

    1 Can’t Let Go
    2 Lines Around
    3 Pineola
    4 Drunken A
    5 Those 3 Days
    6 Fruits of mY L
    7 Ghosts
    8 Lake Charles duo
    9 Bitter M trio
    10 Blue
11 We Have Come Too Far to Turn Around
    12 Steal Your Love
    13 Come On
    14 Hot Blood
    15 Changed the L
    16 Essence
    17 Foolishness
    18 Righteously

Yes folks I was feeling mighty sorry for myself during the last half of “Lake Charles” and “Bitter Memory,” but the strains of “Blue” wafting around near about reversed my mood totally. By the time the new song which followed brought a standing ovation, I had been taken back THERE, transported really.

From what Lu said near end of set in praise of audience, she was maybe a somewhat unhappy camper early in set. In middle, she seemed at pains to tell us “not all songs have to be serious,” or some such formulation. She mentioned her father and also aspiring to be like Dylan and Cohen, then seemed to enlist “Hot Blood” and “Come On” as examples of a less than serious tone, uttering the words “cock rock” with regard to the latter. I hesitate to say more since I don’t have the live context of the first 40 or so minutes of set. Seems like this was the night she even said “I know I’m a little woman, but I can rock my ass off.” I think there was also a reference to the bikers in the crowd being thanked for “giving me a chance.” Am I making this stuff up, Tom?

Mr. Stoger, you are to be validated for going up the New England and representing for all 3 shows. Free chowder for you!

Yet I prefer the clam chow to the “New England” type. . .

    From Tom:
Great backstory behind the the Columbus theater. A couple years ago local band Low Anthem needed a place to rehearse, record and eventually live so they moved into the Columbus Theater which was not in use. They eventually worked with the owner and gradually started booking shows and brought it back to life. It has now become the venue to play in Providence. Its a great success story and a really great old theater that is really being supported by the community. Lucinda hadn’t been to Providence in many years so it was yet another city that was rediscovered on this run. It’s always great to find these new places to play and that has really been thread that connects this run-we all really liked Providence. Nothing else to say except the requisite great great crowd great night. Oh I guess I should mention that I wasn’t able to take any pictures because we did Facebook live broadcast of the show.

I believe the Columbus T was once a porn house, but no reflection upon Low Anthem.
