    From Tom:

There was definitely a somber mood in the air as we took the stage at Wolf Trap. The sadness hung like the humid air. Lucinda wanted to include some song that spoke to what we were all feeling, like World Without Tears, Protection, People Talkin’ and a brand new one called We’ve Come To Far To Turn Around. She wrote this song late last year for a documentary that isn’t out yet and sadly it’s becoming more timely with each day. Lucinda sang the whole set with a subtle defiance and especially that song. It seemed like the huge crowd understood that and it was a night of a sharing what we all were feeling. Lucinda has played Charlottesville many times and it is a place we have loved to go to. We are with you and we gotta stay strong.

    Nice words from Tom.

We’ve Come Too Far To Turn Around is a great song – Particularly  in light of today’s turbulant times, just as Walk On was for the marches. Including You Can’t Always Get What You Want (not played at WT) in the set lists is also -not only because it’s a great song , but also because it was played mockingly at the conventions and his (won’t say his name either, Lu) conventions and rallies.. Walk/Rock On…

Thanks, Tom.  I remember the theatre downtown well, where Heather’s memorial service was held today.  Venue was either near or that very same Paramount.  Bought you a drink in a hotel bar before one Charlottesville show, as I recall.
