Can’t Let Go
People Talkin
World Without Tears (no mention of Istanbul, but you have to think it’s on Lu’s mind)
West Memphis
Drunken Angel (long Blaze Foley intro as guitar tech Justin Bricko (introduced by both names) makes and adjustment in the equipment about Lu’s person)
Fruits of My Labor
Can’t Close the Door
Ghosts
Compassion (with a doozy of an intro, one of the longest in the annals of Lu-dom. She starts by pointing to the electric fans and noting that she told Bricko to turn them off earlier because they might be affecting the sound. He then steps forward to turn them back on, but she waves him off. Lu praises us for being here in the heat, then announces that the venue reminds her of those old, hot Southern churches of her girlhood. She then queries the audience as to the denomination of this building (“Anglican?” “Catholic?”); someone shouts out “Lutheran.” From there, Lu clarifies that she is not a “Christian artist,” then reminiscies on “all those horrible Christian pop bands with the girls in lipstick saying ‘Jesus Jesus'” of the past decades. A few words about her father follow).
If ThereÅ› a Heaven (“I’m sorry if I was sacreligious earlier”)
If My Love Could Kill (followed by “sorry about all these heavy songs” and some reflections on the artistic process, with Van Gogh thrown in there at some point)
Lake Charles
Blue
Bitter Memory
Doors of Heaven
Joy
Get Right
    ___________________________
You Gotta Move
Hard Time Killing (“Lu takes a swig of Stu’s encore beer beforehand, though she has a wine goblet on stage: I call this “drinking from the cup” in light of the venue)
Pale Blue Eyes
