I’m hearing this is a done deal… (Oct 7-9)
Not sure I’d try to go (who am I kidding?) but it does look like an amazing three day event.Rolling Stones, Dylan, McCartney, Neil Young in Talks for Mega Concert
Roger Waters and the Who also tabbed for three-day concert in Indio, California this Octoberhttp://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/rolling-stones-dylan-mccartney-neil-young-in-talks-for-mega-concert-20160415#ixzz45ww926l2

April 17, 2016 at 5:29 pm #55142tonygKeymaster3 days in the desert? Oh dear. 😉
May 3, 2016 at 5:28 pm #55143Mike_DoranParticipantTickets on sale Monday…(9th)
http://home.deserttrip.comBooked a room not far from venue before announcement and am now debating whether to go..
Thinking of getting a camping spot instead for the three days and making it into a survival type trip 😀As much as I LOVE a live Rolling Stones show, the Saturday line-up with McCartney and Neil turns this from a one night opportunity into a near mandatory three day pass.

Mike D as woodsy outdoor Survivor–I like it! Next you’ll be wallowing in the Bonnaroo mud for a whole week in June.
May 3, 2016 at 10:01 pm #55145tonygKeymasterI am contemplating what to do about this. I feel I may be too elderly to survive 3 days and nights in the desert. Can’t they just show it on the teevee? 😀
Mike, what hotel were you contemplating?
P.S. I checked 20 hotels near the site. All sold out already. Maybe VIP packages scooped them all up?
P.P.S. I now see one in Palm Springs for $450 a night. And that is at least 10 miles away if not 20. 🙄

Cancelable of course, and I am now trying to decide what option (if any) to take in the next week.If I decide to take a camping spot or not to make the trip.. I would gladly pass it along. Mike
