No rain worries in Ottawa. Beautiful September night and a massive awesome crowd. Doesn’t get any better than that. After the show Lu was standing outside the bus signing some autographs and taking some pics and this very well dressed man asks me “This isn’t THE bus is it?” After a good laugh I said “no -we got rid of that one and we’ll never have one like that again”, and he laughed. After he left someone mentioned that he was on the board of directors of the festival. I thought how it was rather amazing how legend of THE bus and the travails of our travels had spread all the way to a director of the festival. THE BUS -soon to be a major motion picture at a theater near you.

I contemplated Toronto since Erika and the HB’s were appearing next day following Lu in Toronto but it was a little pricey for me.
Ottawa would have been nice as I went to school there and still have friends there but i opted out of the 5-6 hour drive.
Thankfully Tom O. is doing a superb job of reporting Lu’s travels.lwj
