To say the last three weeks have been a blur is an understatement. Here is brief recap of Lucinda’s last three weeks:

Finished writing the last two songs
Somehow got into the studio and got them recorded before leaving for Nashville
9/1-Flew to Nashville
9/2 -Sat in with Rosanne at her CMHOF show
9/3- Did a very special show with Emmylou and Rosanne, also at the CMHOF
9/10-Did photo shoot in Nashville for next record
9/9, 11 & 12–Did a ton of Australian and tour press
9/14 -Jumped on bus in Nashville to go to New Orleans
9/15 —Played private show at a party for the CIMS (Coalition Of Independent Music Stores), got back on bus to head back to Nashville
9/16 – Americana Music Awards —What?? Album Of The Year ?
9/17 -Sat in with Buick 6 at Americana showcase in Nashville -got on bus to head to Toronto to start tour
9/19—Ok let’s start the tour -played the Toronto Urban Roots Festival -head to Ottawa
9/20—Played the Ottawa City Folk Festival -head to Cleveland
9/21 —Played Cleveland -head to Chicago
9/22 —Listen to final (hopefully) mixes for new record
9/23 — 1st show in Chicago
9/24 — 2nd show in Chicago

And guess what ? WE GOT THE ORANGE BUS BACK —ALL IS RIGHT WITH THE WORLD AGAIN
Thank you to Russell Coach for a great job refurbishing it -and thanks to our great new driver Steve -he doesn’t hit the brake every five seconds.
The legend of Red Fred and THE BUS will live on in infamy. As Bruce says “some day we’ll look back at this and it will all seem funny”.
Not yet though.
