    Of Note:
    Buick 6 opened.
    Pleasantly surprised to see the band open the show in Lu of KBB…
    Played a great set that the crowd loved finishing with a humorous Butch promoting the Buick 6 cd..telling the crowd that it was “cheaper than Lucinda’s” .. and then ending with Lu will be out “when she feels like it..” 🙂

    Lu took the stage at 9:06 and played right about two hours..
    Another great show.. the band really is firing on all cylinders and then some.
    Love all the assortment of accessories that Butch has been using more and more creating some great effects..
    And another epic version of Unsuffer Me as well..

    Side Note..
    Apparently Billy Idol is still hugely popular as the border guard going in to Canada asked if my wife and I were going to see him and then the American guard on the way back asked if that’s the show we were returning from..

    Nifty pun on “lieu”/”lu” Mike, but I figured you were bilingual, crossing into Canada and all. Billy Idol, really????????

    Red ink would seem to be forthcoming, “Greenville” I think, plus one or two of the rockers maybe.

    Im about to head up to the central coast for wine and golf, in that order. If I should receive the setlist I will post it although I may need a free online converter program to change pdf to jpg.

    P.S. Oh and it’s 80 degrees out. 😆

    From Probably the best audience we’ve ever had in Vancouver. Especially once they knew it was ok to get up and dance. Wonderful version of Greenville in it’s tour debut-one of two tour debuts which brings this tour’s song count to 46. Here we go on the island in Victoria

    This was my first Lucinda Williams concert. She and Buick 6 were amazing. I looking forward to Lu coming back soon and hope she plays The Vogue again as it is a great venue.
