    There.
    I said it.

    I think Lucinda (and Tom and all who worked on the album) were robbed by not receiving a Grammy nomination for best Americana Album.

    The album is just too good not to have been nominated. IMHO
    And while they were nominating, best song should have come up as well (Protection… West Memphis.. Compassion)

    My online presence has been minimal the past week. Today, I saw Grammy nominations were announced on Friday. I searched frantically for Lu, and cannot believe she was not nominated! Seriously?!

    AGAIN, I don’t understand. Is it a ‘political thing’ whereas Lu is not signed to a ‘major’ label?

    Further proof (to me) of the continued irrelevance of the Grammys. It started to dawn on me back when A Taste of Honey (“Boogie Oogie Oogie”) beat out Elvis Costello and The Cars for Best New Artist at the ’79 awards… 😕
