    A big day for our Lu, with Artist of the Year and Album of the Year noms! Plus, Song of the Year, “East Side of Town.” That one may have hit a resonant bone in NashVegas.

    What’s more, Stuart Mathis is up for Instrumentalist of the Year. If I had a vote, I’d cast immediately, though Greg Leisz is nominated against him. Can anyone say Bill Frissell in next year’s sweepstakes?

    I’m so thrilled for Lucinda, Stuart, Greg, TO and everyone on the team. I imagine there is much Joy in the valley tonight. And, righteously so!

    Yesssss, we have next year to look forward to doing it all again! 😀

    TRANSLATION: Several of the Friendly Forum attended the AMA awards ceremony in 2010 (I can’t believe it’s been 5 years!) and with Lu receiving multiple nominations, I have a feeling it could be another mega showing in Nashville by the FF. 😀
