The Asbury Park Press ran the same or similiar article on Sunday. I imagine we’ll be packed in at the Pony tonight.

Lu’s first appearance at the Stone Pony.-SOLD OUT

Several You Tubes from last night but this one seems appropriate for NJ “Factory”

    Incredible version of “Factory!”

The link for the video was tweeted out by Backstreets Magazine. A nice little nod to Lu.

    Well?

stoger, does the word “Well” indicate that your road tour has now gone home to the Volunteer State of TN ?

If so, I would like to thank you for your PHD knowledge in Luology and your reporting of this very successful tour.
What was your favorite show ? Don’t say em all ! 😆

it was a REAL good night in asbury park. sorry i don’t have a setlist, gave that up after 8/9/95 but some of the
highlights for me were everything’s changed, too cool, atonement and changed the locks roared.

this was my 3rd show in a bar and after last night i wish she’d play nothing but. sitting my fat ass in a sterile theater
just doesn’t cut after getting sweaty and groovin for 2+ hours. and despite it’s history, for those of you who have never been there the stone pony is sort of a grimy little dump but absolutely the perfect place for a night like last.

Thanks jackstraw for your thoughts, and I believe “Everything Has Changed” (not to be confused with “Everything But the Truth”) is a tour debut. Any more, TO?

LWJ, I’m on hiatus now and thus didn’t post re: the Harrisburg or Stone Pony shows. But don’t count me out when the tour heads to the Empire State, post-Ithaca that is.

A photo of the taped stage floor set list from Lu’s facebook .
( Someone wrote that Are You Down wasn’t played.)

I’m postive Sidewalks of the City is new on this tour stoger.
Lefty and I heard it in Buffalo.

Darn tootin’ “Sidewalks…” is a debut, lwj–just as “Lines Around…” was in Delaware. I don’t think I’ve heard either outside of the “album-a-night” format a few years back, until “Lines” in Wilmington. I’m liking these lists. By the way, Leftover Salmon recorded “Sidewalks” some time ago, with Lu I think.

The set lists on this tour are running the whole gambit, love it.
Re: “Lines Around Your Eyes” , as per Setlist FM it is listed only the once for the recent Delaware show but I did find out Lu recorded the song on the Nashville Sessions CD in 1999 with Leftover Salmon.

The following You Tube might be one of Lu’s oldest.
    Have a looksee.
It’s Lines Around Your Eyes on the Letterman show from 1992. ( It’s a re-post earlier in the FF but it’s worth a repeat.)

thanks for your good comprehensive research, lwj. I must caution (in this thread and others) that, as much as I love these photoshoots of setlists (instagram? instagram?), they are not definitive on actual songs played. Slash marks are especially ambiguous, but even a tune slotted in without a slash mark might not have been played: small chance it wasn’t. That said, I think we can safely assume. Only TO can say for sure this leg of the tour. . . .

Thanks–interesting use of slash marks yourself, in a different context. Good to see that Bruce cover debuted, confirmation of it that is.
