Apparently, after perusing many tweets, Lucinda’s “Are You Alright” was featured in HBO’s True Detective. The musical score is supervised by T Bone Burnett.
There are quite a few positive tweets about the song appearing in this episode.

Actually, I may need to start watching this series. TBone Burnett as soundtrack go-to-guy and one of the stars is Matthew McConaughy? The scripts (and some scenes I watched) are intriguing.

TD is stunning. i remember when lucinda had songs in TRUE BLOOD, and i thought “how can anyone allow beauties like lake charles and kiss like your kiss on a shitty, mindless show”.
but TD is a different beast entirely. it’s a MASTERPIECE.
In addition to a multitude of accolades on twitter for Lu after this episode aired, an upload of the song on YouTube from 2011 is showing recent activity from the show as well. It makes me wonder if there was an uptick in downloads on iTunes. Social media, sometimes, it’s a good thing.
