I went to Solana Beach last night and saw Steve Poltz with Tim Flannery opening and it was a tremendous night of music. If you don’t know Steve Poltz, he was with Jewel in the early years and cowrote You Were Meant For Me. He is insanely entertaining and it was one of the funnest (Stoger?) 2 hours of my life. Tim Flannery opened and was also great. Tim played for the San Diego Padres and is now the 3rd base coach for the SF Giants. It rained like crazy and water started pouring down at the rear of the stage.
I had forgotten this but Tim and Steve were both at the Belly Up in January when Lu played there on her duo tour with Doug. They are San Diego guys although Steve is Canadian and I think Tim’s family is from Kentucky.
You must see Steve Poltz if he ever comes to your town. 😀

I’d go with “most fun” if you want standard usage, Tony, but what the hey? Steve Polz is a big SD bud of Sara Petite, who I believe impressed you at that Pappy’s courtyard walk-through (though you got no hug, best I recall).

👿 In the words of Richard Thompson, do “Keep Your Distance” from me next time we twain meet.
