A comment from the article lwj posted in New Orleans #1 gives reference to a large chunk of the set list (on Monday evening) after the Rough Trade set as dedicated to Louisiana songs.

“I didn’t return for night two, but I heard she gave a big chunk of the second set Monday (probably to celebrate her LMHoF induction) over to Louisiana songs: Hank Williams, Memphis Minnie, Fats… if you have the set list, please post!”

    Tipitina’s #2

    1 Can’t Let Go
    2 Metal Firecracker
3 Car Wheels. One and only restart of the night. (set list alternate – Right in Time)
    4 Pineola
    5 Crescent City
    6 Jackson
7 Bus to Baton Rouge (“Some good memories, some bad – but that’s how families are.”)
    8 Lake Charles
    9 2 Kool
10 Trying to Get to Heaven (set list alternate – I Lost It)
11 Drunken Angel (she describes these types as “beautiful losers”)
    12 Blessed
    13 Out of Touch
14 Righteously (with a story about finding this in a karaoke bar song book, and singing it!)
    15 Joy
    16 Honey Bee

    LMHOF induction

    17 Nothin’ in Ramblin’
18 I Lived My Life (a 1954 Fats Domino song)
19 Jambalaya (w/Lillie Mae from KBB)
20 Get Right With God (w/KBB)

    * Note eight out of thirteen “Car Wheels” songs. Hmmm….

KBB gets better all the time. Great set as usual. Don’t forget these guys after the Lu tour is over!

First night had about 50 people outside when the doors open at 7:00. Last night was only about 10. Had me wondering for a moment. Room filled before the music began, though. A note about the crowd – much livelier than the first night. Plenty of generous feedback to Lu all night. Deafening noise trying to get her back for the encore. It was obvious Lu appreciated it. Between Jambalaya and GRWG, she said “I feel like a little girl at my birthday party”.
Excellent show – Lu in a great mood all night.

A quick Lu/Tom/Stu meet and greet on the sidewalk after the show really capped off another memorable night.
    On to Bristol…

Guess I missed the “title track” to Little Honey. Sounds like it would be a great song. 😆

A “much livelier crowd” the second night???????????? Thanks a lot, railroad! 😀 I bet you didn’t have a dancecrasher a la the “Essence” chick to deal with up front night two. . . . See you in the second best Tri-City Friday.

Ouch! Didn’t mean to imply the wrong thing. It was in spite of your absense, not because of it.
Nope, no crazy dancecrasher like night #1 or the drunk chick screaming “Are You Alright” all night.
I impressed (I hope) on Lu and Tom how cool it would be for a Jim Lauderdale “let me bring a friend up for the next song” moment Friday night. Hope that happens.

You are a good ambassador, Randy. And I had forgotten about that dozen+ times slurred request for a song from West during the Rough Trade set. Real focus up front there. See you in Bristol.
