Just a thread opener for this show gig #2 of 32 as I post this it’s 10:00 p.m. in Belfast.

As I reported earlier the opening artist is Malojian, I would think the audience would have enjoyed their music as much as I did watching a BBC Ulster video of Malojian singing “Watch the Rain”. Very soothing music to the ear.
Why you might see them on stage for the encore with Lu, Doug and David. Could be a harmonica riff taking place?

Here’s the video whilst we await real reports.

    A great review from Culture.
Between this article, new FF member kaiboy and You Tube 14 songs were reported and are:

Passionate Kisses, River Man,Crescent City, Drunken Angel, Joy, Honey Bee, Seeing Black, Get Right with God, Blue, Changed the locks, Can’t Let Go, Bitter Memory, Hard Time Killing Floor Blues and Stop Breaking Down Blues. (Robert Johnson).

6 You tubes are now on:
Seeing Black, River Man (already posted by Lafayette), Drunken Angel (already posted by moi ), Joy, Honey Bee and Crescent City.

    Here is the article.
An important quote.or as tonyg said ” A Major News Bulletin “

“The remainder of the set is a mixture of crowd favourites sprinkled with a few new songs. The notoriously slow-working Williams has been recording with renowned producer Joe Henry on a new album, due out later this year, and she’s keen to try some of the songs out in a live arena. ‘They’ll be better once we learn them a bit,’ she laughs”

I would call that a major news bulletin. Joe Henry has produced many grammy nominated or winning records, and is married to Madonna’s sister. πŸ˜€ πŸ™„

I am OCD in regard to setlist.fm.

At present, I posted the songs in the order they were reported in the article, not including the unearthed YouTube footage.

Indeed. Months back, I heard tom overby say that joe henry was dying to produce Lucinda; this was around the time the new Over the Rhine record was just out, with OTR opening for Lu. Good scoop.
