    With the band are in the studio -just finished This Old Guitar for a John Denver tribute record -really came out beautiful. Now for something completely different- about to record a new version of Joy for the upcoming West Memphis 3 soundtrack. Almost ready to go -sounding really nasty if i may say so.

    Cool! Hopefully, it’ll see the light of day, released on a soundtrack CD (or elsewhere…)!!! ❗

    two tracks with ms. williams yesterday. one for a WEST MEMPHIS tribute album and the other a JOHN DENVER tribute compilation. this is the kit for a knarly/greasy/down dirty version of “JOY” for the west memphis record.

    OVERVIEW: left to right. 20″ BD on milk crates, 15″ ludwig/paiste hats from 60’s with bells, caxixi’s, hat tamb, 15″x9″ WFL late 50’s mahogany thin student snare, 12″ heating duct drum, 10″ jam session tom/snare attached to a cocktail style 16″ floor tom, 32″ concert bass drum.

    The West Memphis 3 soundtrack is coming out 12/11 but that will be very tight. The John Denver tribute record is coming early next year -Jan. I believe.
    More things coming -and a lot more news coming very soon. Next year is going to be very busy.

    Looks like it’s about 1/2 minute longer than the original.=More Joy
