    Since Tom has announced that Lu will play this year I thought a new thread is in order, plus I have nothing else to do. If anybody knows anything, put it here. Here is what I know: I am going, but I don’t know who is playing, on what date, or when tickets go on sale. Plus it always rains that weekend up there. Buckets of rain.

    I have checked a few websites and found out there there are a few good choices for hotels in the area, and that public transportation to and from the venue is problematic at best and non-existant at worst, especially once the show is over late at night. I could fly to San Jose, which seems to be the closest airport, and back for $200, or I could drive for about 6 hours, but at least I would have a car there.

    Who else is going? 8)

    Stoger lives in Tennessee and he is about due for a trip to California.

    Thanks for starting the separate thread Tony. I am really wanting to get up there for this, but I can only commit to my usual well-intentioned-maybe status (as dictated by the crisis du jour and ongoing grumpy moniker). That said, we can discuss locally further options and info and keep working on stoger…

    One day I am going to make a trip out WEST. This weekend is not in the cards for me. Will have to live vicariously through the road crew.

    thought you meant The Statue of Liberty for a minute there, Tony. But doesn’t this artist have a rep for not interacting with fans much? Good luck asking her. . .

    Yes! He’s doing a solo tour this fall; first time that I can remember.
