Picked this up today. Half way through and not sure what to think yet. Just glad I didn’t shell out the money for the blu ray.

Lucinda does a great job as does Willie and Kristofferson, but wow… It is hard to say anything good about the rest. Listening to Pat Monahan singing “It Ain’t Me Babe” made me want to turn off the dvd and throw it in the trash.

Wow, thanks for the heads up, ParkerCA – I’ll hold off on the purchase of the entire DVD & just download the MP3 of Lu’s contribution (“Hurt”).

I like much of Train’s stuff, especially their first two albums (and they do an incredible cover of Zeppelin’s “Ramble On” that is kind of hard to find – they play it a lot live, but the studio version was released on CD only as a limited edition promotional single – I found a used one on eBay a while back), and I usually like Pat’s vocals. I checked out the sample of “It Ain’t Me Babe” at Amazon.com, but it featured only him & Shelby Lynne singing the chorus together, so it was kind of hard to tell how bad he sucked, but I will take your word for it… 😉

It honestly sounded like some of the mics were off during some of the group performances.

I haven’t got a chance to listen to the CD yet. They sound could be better on the cd.

Ouch Parker, you’ve named my favorite Dylan song, bar none. The Amnesty Internatioal cover of it is pretty respectable, no? (forgotten which band)

I think Band of Skulls covered it on the Amnesty International disc. I haven’t heard that version yet.

Didn’t want to start a new thread for this…
