    Lu is mentioned in this article about Louisiana music. Why they used Buttercup as her referenced song, vs. Crescent City, Lake Charles, or Lafayette, who can say…

    That IS weird. Not that I do not like “Buttercup” – I do – but what does it have to do with Louisiana? ❓

    I guess they just went with the opener from her latest studio album (out of laziness?)…

    even copenhagen would have been a wiser choice.

    1 year later, buttercup still seems totally out of touch (actually out of every single one of the 5 senses) with the rest of BLESSED for me, but that doesn’t mean the album isn’t terrific (it is) or the song isn’t great (it is).
