August 5, 2012 at 5:54 pm #49915paul_from_losangelesParticipantKasey gave a stellar performance last night (Aug. 4) at the historic Aladdin Theater in Portland, Oregon. Kasey was accompanied by her father, Bill Chambers, on lead guitars, the beautiful Ashleigh Dallas on fiddles and mandolin, and talented musician Michael Muchow on additional guitars and mandolin. Kasey declared her usual accolades for Lucinda, and sang Happy Woman Blues from Kasey’s recent album. Lucinda albums were played exclusively in the theater as background music before the show, and during intermission. Before the encore, Kasey introduced the audience to her 3rd child, her 9-month-old daughter named Poet. Kasey’s tour continues this week, with dates in San Francisco and New York, among others.
March 30, 2013 at 11:26 pm #49916Tyla PParticipantDoes anyone know where I can find the complete U.S. tour schedule for 2013? I will be making a trip to Vegas this year, and seeing this tour would be one of the best Las Vegas Things to Do if there is a show there. Thanks!

There are none listed at Pollstar.com for her, nor on TicketMaster, nor on her Facebook page under “Tour Dates”, so I don’t think any have been announced yet?

Kasey Chambers and Shane Nicholson announce separation
Tom
P.S. I took the liberty of changing the name of this thread to simply “Kasey Chambers”, removing “USA Tour: August, 2012”, as it has evolved to a more generic informational thread about her…

“Informational”–not to say “gossipy”–yes.

Sorry you feel that way, stoger – I posted this mainly in light of the fact that the two have collaborated on at least two album releases in the past (i.e., Rattlin Bones and Wreck and Ruin, both of which I own I might add). Although one could assume that this “separation” might not impact that professional relationship, given the very real chance that it might, I posted the link… 😛

April 23, 2013 at 8:56 pm #49923Drunken AngelParticipantI hope this doesn’t mean the two won’t collaborate in the future. While I am a fan of Kasey’s early music, the work produced by the two of them really made her voice shine and strengthened her music , IMO.

Unfortunate wording on my part, tntracy. You yourself are anything but a gossip-mongerer; more than one singer/songwriter you have introduced to me in this thread have I followed up on. So keep posting, and I agree with Drunken Angel that we will hope to see these two together on stage again in the future.

No worries, my friend…
